Linocut workshop: Anina Menge and Nikola Logosová

Czech illustrator Anina Menger will present a unique technique of lino cut also known as lino print in her workshop during the festival Outline in Jerusalem.

Anina Mengerová

Anina Mengerová graduated from Umprum in Prague in 2022 in the studio of Illustration and Graphics Her diploma thesis Spring hills and other small trips won 1st place in the international Well Designed Book competition. It is a small travelogue, a kind of authorial record of the author's impressions and time spent in Israel.

The stay in this region also became the subject of two other exhibitions, which took place in Prague, the last one this summer at the Postoj gallery.

In her work she likes to combine various techniques from collage or painting to weaving and working with textiles. However, an integral part of her portfolio are graphic works created using traditional techniques such as lithography or serigraphy.

Nikola Logosová

Nikola Logosová studied at UMPRUM in Prague in the illustration and graphics studio. Currently, she is primarily engaged in illustrating books, while also creating her own publications, contributing to newspapers and magazines, and, last but not least, designing posters and cassette covers. In 2019, she was named Illustrator of the Year in the annual Czech Grand Design awards. The books she collaborates on regularly achieve recognition in competitions such as Zlatá stuha (Golden Ribbon) and Nejkrásnější česká kniha roku (Most Beautiful Czech Book of the Year).
