Czech Film Week returned to cinemas in 2021. We presented to the Israeli audience six films in five Israeli cities, in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Herzeliya and Holon. The festival opened with the best Czech film of the last year, Charlatan (Šarlatán) directed by award-winning Agnieszka Holland. The movie won 5 Czech Lion Awards and was also official submission of Czech Republic for the 'Best International Feature Film' category of the 93rd Academy Awards in 2021.
