On February 27th, a Linocut workshop took place at the Slovak Institute in Jerusalem. The Linocut workshop proved to be not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable! Czech illustrators Anina Menger and Nikola Logosová provided comprehensive explanations of the technique, shared valuable tips, and offered hands-on assistance to each participant in crafting unique and delightful linocut prints.
The workshop was dedicated to exploring the art of Linocut, also known as printmaking. Participants delved into the classic graphic process of printing from the top down, examining various examples and engaging in discussions about different techniques. Through the process of printing from matrices, several multi-colored graphic sheets were created. Each participant had the opportunity to design multiple copies of their original vision while mastering the techniques of linocut and color printing.
