Naive Theatre Liberec charmed young audiences at the Jerusalem Puppet Festival

At the puppet festival in Jerusalem, the Czech Naive Theatre Liberec played six performances of Choo. Choo. Whistle. Woof! As the name suggests, it is a production intended for the youngest audiences. They received the production with excitement.

All six performances were sold out. The production is almost without words, so the theatre did not have to worry about translation - the narration was provided by interjections and puppet movement. The Naive Theatre Liberec is famous for its ability to capture the attention of the children and tell a story in an understandable way. It did not disappoint in this respect in Jerusalem.

The production is directed by Michaela Homolová, the author of the play is Vít Peřina, the stage and puppets are by Robert Smolík.

The Jerusalem Puppet Festival

The International Puppet Festival in Jerusalem, which featured the performance Choo. Choo. Wistle. Woof!, was founded in 1982 by the Train Theatre. The festival aim is to show the best of Israeli and international puppet theatre. In addition to the traditional performances, it also includes multimedia events: this year, for example, there was a digital theater tour using AR technology or a theatrical photo booth with live animation.
