Czech House Jerusalem in cooperation with the Czech town Dobruška presented the exhibition 'František Kupka’s Homeland through the lens o Honza Ježdík'. Czech photographer Honza Ježdík (1982) is, like Kupka, a native of Opočno. The lens of the award holder of the prestigious Czech Press Photo captured beautiful nature, well-known places, and hidden corners of Opočno, Dobruška, Jaroměř and their surroundings. František Kupka drew his initial inspirational impulses here, which he later developed fully in his unique artistic work. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the genius' birth.
