On November 28, the festive opening of an exhibition of photographs by Štěpán Bartoš entitled Jewish Monuments of Eastern Bohemia took place in Jerusalem Cinematheque.
The exhibition presents several Jewish monuments that have been preserved in the Czech Republic in the Hradec Králové and Pardubice regions. Until the end of the 1930s, the region of northeastern Bohemia was inhabited by a diverse community of Czechs, Germans, and Jews. Social, commercial, and religious life and peace functioned here. The opening took place in a friendly spirit. The exhibition will be available at the Jerusalem Cinematheque until December 8, daily from 5 pm to 10 pm and free of charge.
The exhibition was created in cooperation with Hradec Králové region and Pardubice region.
